There are many, many things we find attractive about Robert Downey Jr.
But this is the place where you can find love of a perhaps previously little-appreciated part of Robert: his tummy. Muscled or flat, skinny or chubby, we love that little belly and it's outie-button!
Here you will find pictures, opinions and even fanfiction about this man's tummy. Feel free to ask any questions you have, or submit a post of your own!
Some people say actors mainly do their job because they need public approval to feel good. And for Jude that was true. In certain moments at least.
Although it was normal that all sorts of people on set told him what he could do better, how he could improve his portrayal of Dr Watson, it was always much nicer to hear what he did well. The internet was a good source for such positive comments.
He was sitting in his trailer with his laptop on his legs after another day of shooting. Refusing to think about why he needed this approval, Jude opened a browser and googled for Sherlock Holmes 2 set pictures. The people who commented those were mostly fans; critics usually took no notice of them and saved their opinion to write nasty things when the movie came out.
The comments did the trick, as per usual. It cheered Jude up to read how many people found him hot, that they liked the way he acted. Even the sort of creepy lines on what certain people would do with him if they could, made him happier. Not that he was too keen on accepting those offers, it was simply good to know. After a while he found himself content enough again.
Just one last picture maybe, Jude thought and clicked back to the Google pages. He laughed to himself when he spotted a behind-the-scenes photo of Robert, shirtless and showing off his body. He clicked it to see what people thought about this apparent little piece of madness.
“Oh Sherlock tummy, you’ve changed”, it read under the picture.
It was true, Robert was not exactly in the shape of the first Holmes movie but still more than well-trained. He examined the site more closely. Were those people seriously judging Robert for not being just as thin as before?
They certainly weren’t. “Fuck yeah, Robert Downey Jr’s Tummy”, said the blog’s headline. And the description on the side definitely showed that it was more of a… well… dedication. Another proof that you can find anything, really anything on the internet, Jude thought. A blog that collects pictures of Robert with a few pounds more on his hips. Amusing.
He took his cell phone out of his pocket and was about to call Robert about his discovery when he paused. It was because of the picture on the screen, Robert in a green shirt, blonde, equipped with hat and pudge. He wasn’t laughing about it anymore, not even chuckling. Strangely, he felt another emotion rising. And something in his pants was, too.
It turned him on.
Now, that’s new, he thought. He struggled for a moment. He didn’t know if he wanted to get into this, he didn’t know what this could lead to. He knew that he wanted to see more, though. After a few seconds and another look at the wonderfully podgy picture in front of him, curiosity won.
There were actually quite some pictures to collect. From those where you could merely guess the tummy under Robert’s shirt to those where it was more than visible. Paparazzi pictures, red carpet pictures, movie stills, everything there. Shirtless Sherlock Holmes pictures and the slightly more popular, apparently heavier Tony Stark images. Jude had to admit that those were actually sexier. Sure, Robert looked great as Holmes, very aesthetic, very much according to public taste. But as Tony Stark, he was simply… more, healthier, prettier. Curvier.
And it was not just Tony Stark. It seemed that the chubbier Robert got, his sexiness increased as well. Plus, it was not like he was hiding anything. In many of the images, he wore tight clothes which even highlighted his belly, showed where exactly the weight settled, showed his tummy spilling over his slightly too small trousers. Jude felt the instant need to nibble on the extra weight and to grab at these nice love handles.
He soon forgot the awkward feeling he had at the beginning and looked through more of the pages. It was too good to stop now.
He found more pictures with a blonde and podgy Robert. Those were slowly becoming his favourites. “He is a) blonde, b) at his chubbiest and therefore c) irresistible to me”, the line under the photo said. And it was true. Jude doubted that he himself wouldn’t just have jumped on him if he had seen his friend like that.
He got lost in the images, breathing heavier and heavier the heavier Robert was on the pictures. Gorgeous curves in tight clothing, a gut that you could poke so nicely. Images in Jude’s head. How it must feel to touch those hips. Heavier breathing. How it must feel to press yourself against that belly. Heavier.
Jude was torn away from these thoughts abruptly. His phone rang. It was Robert.
“Hi Robert”, he said, feeling a bit awkward again. After all, he had fantasised about this man just a moment ago.
“Hey, did I wake you?”, his colleague said.
Just from my interesting dreams. “No, no, I was still up…reading. Why, what’s the matter?”
“Nothing special, I just wanted to ask you if we could have dinner together tomorrow. I was awfully bored tonight and I will definitely need some entertainment tomorrow. So?”
Jude swallowed. “Sure, why not? Let’s eat together.” The mere thought was making him nervous. It was that blog’s fault. Without all the photos, his brain wouldn’t be fantasising about Robert eating right now.
“Okay then, see you on set. Sweet dreams.”
Jude was still feeling tingly when he lay his cell phone down, turned the laptop off and went to bed. He remembered what Robert had said about him during the press tour for the first Holmes movie.
“Disappointingly, he’s entirely heterosexual.”
Well, so much for that.
The dinner on the next day was as awkward as Jude had expected but just as sexy, too. Robert sat opposite to him, chewing on a piece of pizza with a very attractive mix of greed and delight. It would all end up on his hips. It was a pity he was so thin at the moment, anyway. Jude wanted some weight back on Robert’s tummy.
“You want some?”, Robert asked.
“Sorry, what?”, Jude answered in surprise. Was Robert reading his thoughts now?
“You want some of the pizza? You’re looking at it so eagerly. If you give me a piece of yours, I’ll give you a piece of mine.”
“Oh, okay then. Thank you.”
They switched pieces. Robert went on talking about a reference to an original Holmes story he had found in the script. Jude was usually listening when Robert spoke about the allusions he had discovered but his thoughts were soon drawn away again.
Jude asked himself if he would ever dare to speak to Robert about those feelings.
It would probably remain a fantasy.
But a very alluring one, indeed.
